Throughout the history of war there has only been one thing that always remains the same: the focus on psychology. Tanks, guns, soldiers, and bombs might seem commonplace on the battlefield, just like the sword, trebuchet, and spear once were. However, all of the uses of these different pieces of equipment, throughout the ages, have resulted in more psychological harm and control than most people would like to give credit for. Not only in warfare is it important for you to physically take down your opponent, but it’s also important to make sure others feel like it is completely useless to fight back, either because of lack of strength or for ideological reasons.

False information, lies, and other forms of fake intelligence plague the modern age. Not only will people lie, but some people will also try and convince people of something, simply by planting false evidence. This is common practice for criminals leaving a crime scene but is still a common tactic utilized by manipulative people, in all walks of life. That is why it’s always important to double check, and make sure everything you read, hear, and see is genuine. Before making your own conclusion on something and acting on it, no matter if it’s something physical, verbiage, or a fake news story presented, always make sure what your evidence is reliable.

It’s important to realize how these processes are utilized. Not just so you can do them yourself, but so you know what to watch out for, when dealing with others. Most people know lying is bad and are prone to disliking it. Little do they know it’s possible to convince someone of a lie, without ever telling the lie to them. You just need to convince the person of a lie, by planting evidence that points to what you want them to believe. This could be throwing bits and pieces of a lie in a conversation, to allude to the lie, without saying it straight out. You just need to supply the evidence, even if it’s fake to convince the person of a lie. Most people know people will lie. But when preplanned evidence brings people to form their own false conclusion, without someone directly saying it, the person convinced of a lie will be unaware of any lie given to them.

When we look at the human collective, it is much more like the internet. Each human in their own way, is like a computer, with the ability to upload or download any idea to the human collective. Just like each computer and IT network has a certain amount of bandwidth. Different people have different amounts of bandwidth when it comes to sharing and receiving ideas with the rest of the human collective. If someone is skilled in researching, they are able to take in more information from this human collective, as compared to someone who is not. People also have different bandwidth levels when it comes to sharing information too. If someone has a large following online or has media access, they can usually relay a message or idea to a larger crowd than someone who does not. All these ideas put out on the internet have the ability to shape people’s realities, just like how people realities, can control how they use the internet. The biggest advert with using the internet, is that it’s easier to control what people say and hear.

It’s through these memories and things we are taught that our thinking, thought process, ultimately sway our opinions and actions. However, this process usually takes a long time, and requires years of subversive ideology, with different theories and practices built on top of one another, just like any other type of taught subject. For instance, you couldn’t teach a kid about prime numbers, without them first multiplication. The truth can be said about climate change activism, without some previous knowledge of the earth being destroyed by a crisis.
