When people want to cause a problem, they’ll usually make them look like the victim, by stating a lie, usually tied to false emotion as stated above. They might say they don’t want something, while actively pursuing it, or they just might lie about what they are doing. They might even use the idea of them being moral superior to justify some undesired action, even going so far as to state having a moral cause to do something devious.
