People don’t realize that they are what they eat, and this doesn’t just mean in terms of physical appearance, but also how well you feel and how well your mind works.

There is a strong correlation between the type of food we eat and how well our mind works. There are definitely more foods in the modern world that should be avoided, which are leading to all these diseases which have popped up recently such as obesity, infertility, diabetes, and cancers. I’m not a dietitian, but there have been many studies, even some by individuals that say foods from a hundred fifty years ago are healthier than the modern process foods we see in the grocery stores today. This goes against what the mainstream media pushes.

Some foods that these people believe should be avoided are gluten, fake dairy and meats, anything with food coloring or dye, sugar, caffeine, cinnamon, chocolate, HVP, MSG, Seed Oils, artificial flavoring and sweeteners, food with preservatives, soy, or anything else you are personally sensitive to. Even though this list seems long, there are still many other healthy foods to enjoy. Foods with healthy fats, such as omegas, quality protein, probiotic, and other foods that are micro and macro nutrient dense, usually result in an increase in mental strength, as well as physical strength. Even taking supplements, if necessary, is known to greatly help get proper nutrition when they are struggling.
