There is no real difference between watching Television nonstop or spending time endlessly watching videos on Netflix or YouTube aimlessly, when it comes to being detrimental to your health. The same could be said true for someone who opens up social media and scrolls nonstop. Similar effects are encountered with you who mindlessly read useless materials.
Some people spend their time only skimming through random trivia articles, without reading any beneficial information.

Mindless browsing is a simple term covering a broad range activity, which usually are nothing more than a waste of time, consuming useless media. Sometimes we catch ourselves wasting time online, doing weird behaviors that waste our time, with no real reason or purpose. Sometimes this behavior which we perform ourselves without explanation is actually silently pushed activities, manipulating dopamine reception into a zombie like state. With nothing snapping us out of the zombie-like state, it is untold how much time is wasted with us being unproductive.
