There is nothing saying that we can’t come up with our own rules for how we want to limit or control our internet use. For instance, you can agree to not be in front of the screen one hour before bed or one hour after waking up. Maybe you make a rule, where there are no cellphones allowed in the bedroom. Also, without wasting so much time in front of the screens, even television, we have more time to do other things. If you are looking for another productive activity that can replace useless surf time, try using this time to read, meditate, or journal, to help unwind.
