Some people are very quick at talking and don’t think about how what they are trying to say don’t translate well. Sometimes professional PR teams make the same mistake when branding either a product, service, or political movement. However, if someone is able to easily be misinterpreted, it can be used against you.

The best example of this would be the #MeToo movement. Who ever thought of this name for a feminist movement, didn’t really think about how the hashtag sign, is also called pound. This makes it easy for a troll or comedian to turn their feminist saying, #MeToo into “Pound me too.” It’s also funny how the things in the Me-Too movement didn’t want to be treated as sexual objects, yet they wear pussy hats and some even went so far as to dress up like female genitalia.

Black Lives Matter did the same thing. Black lives matter original goal was to fight for equality for all. Some people started making a different chant, “All Lives Matter.” This angered the BLM movement, with many of the things in the BLM movement called this new motto hateful and racist, the opposite is true, meanwhile things involved in BLM were calling out for white genocide and eugenics, almost like what happened in Hati in 1804.
